Noonday Concert

The Music Department presented a Noonday Concert at the Weiss Center for the Arts. Students and faculty performed Robert King's transcription of Ludwig van Beethoven's "Alegretto" from Symphony No. 7, Jean-Baptiste Loeillet's "Sonata No. III", Robert Schumann's "Fantasy Piece, Op. 73, No. 1", Randall Thompson's "The Last Words of David", Virgil Thomson's arrangement of "My Shepherd will supply my need", Samuel Barber's "Sure on this Shining Night", Camille Saint-Saëns' "Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28, for violin and piano", Muzio Clementi's "Sonatina in D major, Op. 36, No. 6", and Alexander Tcherepnin's "Trio, Op. 59".
