Senior Vocal Recital

The Music Department presented a senior recital by tenor Timothy P. Reed, accompanied by pianist Truman Bullard, at 7:30pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  Reed performed Benjamin Britten's "The Salley Gardens" and "The Ash Grove"; John Jacob Niles' "What Songs Were Sung"; Aaron Copland's "The Little Horses (Lullaby)" and "The Golden Willow Tree"; Johannes Brahms' "Vom verwundeten Knab'n", "Murrays Ermordung", and "Trennung"; J. Canteloube's "Pastourelle" and "Bourrees" from Chants D'Auvergne; E. Granados' "Amor y Odio (Tonadilla)", "El Majo Olvidado", and "El tra la la y el Punteado"; Paul Simon's "The Sounds of Silence" and "Scarborough Fair/Canticle"; the traditional English folk songs "Greensleeves" and "The Water is Wide"; and the Appalachian carol "I Wonder as I Wander".
