Brass Ensemble Presents "A Salute to American Composers"

The Music Department presented "A Salute to American Composers" featuring the Brass Ensemble at 7:30pm in the Rubendall Recital Hall.  The ensemble performed Leonard Lebow's "Suite for Brass", Billy Joel's "Longest Time", Vaclav Nelhybel's "Three Intradas for Brass Choir", Arthur Pryor's "Blue Bells of Scotland", Josef Zawinul's "Birdland", and Luther Henderson's arrangement of "The Saints' Hallelujah", along with selections from Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story, jazz standards from George Gershwin, and others.
