Noonday Concert

The Music Department presented a Noonday Concert in the Rubendall Recital Hall.  Students and faculty performed Henry Purcell's Voluntary on Old 100th (trans. John Corley); Frédéric Chopin's "Mazurka in A minor, Op. 17, No. 4" and "Mazurka in F# minor, Op. 6, No. 1"; Aaron Copland's "Heart, We Will Forget Him"; Samuel Barber's "Sure on This Shining Night"; Béla Bartók's "Romanian Folk Dances for violin and piano"; Heitor Villa-Lobos' "Aria from Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Abendempfindung", "Due pupille amabile", "Luci care, luce belle", and "Ecco quel fiero istante"; and Antonio Vivaldi's "Spring" from Le Quattro Stagioni.
