Dickinson College and Shippensburg University Brass Ensembles Present "Metal Allies

The Dickinson College and Shippensburg University Brass Ensembles presented "Metal Allies," a joint concert, at 8:15pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. The ensembles performed Jacob's "The Canterbury Flourish" and "Salute to U.S.A.", Humperdinck's "Evening Prayer and Dream Pantomime" from Hansel and Gretel (arr. Greenawalt), Gervaise's "Old French Dances" (arr. Reeve), Buxtehude's "Fanfare and Chorus", Susato's "A Suite of Dances", Fitzgerald's "Trumpet Guild Fanfare", Rimsky-Korsakov's "Procession of the Nobles" (arr. Snell), the Shaker tune "Simple Gifts" (arr. Richards), Lear's "Hogarth's Hoe-Down", Stravinsky's "Final Hymn from The Firebird" (arr. Gordon), and Purcell's "Trumpet Tune and Air" (arr. Howarth).
