Senior Vocal Recital

The Music Department presented a senior recital by mezzo-soprano Erika Haggist, accompanied by pianist Robert Felstein, at 7:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Haggist performed the anonymously written pieces "Venez agréable printemps", "Chantons les Amours de Jean", and "Jeunes fillettes"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Batti, batti, o bel Masetto", "Vedrai, carino", "Là ci darem la mano", and "Prendrò quel brunettino"; Aaron Copland's "Why do they shut me out of Heaven?", "The world feels dusty", and "Heart, we will forget him"; Richard Hundley's "Strings in the Earth and Air"; Thomas Pasatieri's "Overweight, Overwrought, Over You" and "You Know"; and George Gershwin's "I'll Build a Stairway to Paradise".
