Vanessa Rickert and Carol Henry Perform

The Music Department presented a joint faculty recital by trumpet player Vanessa Rickert and trombone player Carol Henry at 7:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Rickert and Henry performed David Uber's "Blue-Chip Blues" and "Rush-Hour Rag"; J.B.G. Neruda's "Concerto in E flat" (ed. David Hickman); Wilhelm Domroese's "L'Ours", "L'Ourse", and "Danse des Ours"; Ann Ronnell's "Willow Weep for Me"; Herbert Clarke's "Cousins"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "My Spirit Be Joyful" (trans. Harry Herforth) and "Air 'on the G String'" (trans. Arthur Frackenpohl); Morley Calvert's "La Marche"; George Gershwin's "Love is Here to Stay" (arr. Nigel Cunningham); and the traditional piece "Just A Closer Walk with Thee" (arr. Don Gills).
