Symphonic Band Performs

The Music Department presented a concert by the Symphonic Band at 3:00pm in the Rubendall Recital Hall. The band performed Frank Erickson's "Scherzo for Band", Howard Hanson's "Chorale and Alleluia", Robert W. Smith's arrangement of the traditional piece "'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime", David R. Holsinger's "On a Hymnsong of Robert Lowry", Girolamo Frescobaldi's "Preambuluna an Canzona" (arr. Justin Gray), William E. Rhoads' "Puerto Alegre", and Karl L. King's "The Trombone King" (ed. John P. Paynter).
