Dickinson College Collegium, Choir, and Brass Ensemble Perform at Old St. Paul's Church in Baltimore

The Music Department presented a concert by the Brass Ensemble, the Collegium, and the Choir at Old St. Paul's Church in Baltimore, Maryland at 3:00pm.  The ensembles performed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "March from The Magic Flute" (arr. H. Schmidt), Johann Christoph Pezel's "Intrada and Bal: Two Renaissance Dances" (arr. Robert King), Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's "Adoramus Te Christe: A Renaissance Motet" (arr. L. Waldec), Tielman Susato's "Saltarello and Ronde: Two Renaissance Dances" (arr. Robert King), Luca Marenzio's "Hodie Christus natus est", Edgar Pettman's arrangement of the Basque traditional "Sing lullaby", Orlando Gibbons' "Nunc dimittis", Benjamin Britten's "As dew in Aprille" and "This little babe", Giovanni Maria Nanino's "Diffusa est gratia", René Clausen's "Set Me as a Seal Upon Thy Heart", Karl Heinrich Graun's "Surely He hath borne our Griefs", Ronald Huntington's arrangement of the African-American spiritual "Joshua fit de Battle of Jericho", and Ralph Vaughan Williams' "O Clap Your Hands".
