Collegium Christmas Concert 1998

The Music Department presented the Dickinson Collegium's 1998 Christmas Concert at 7:0opm on Dec. 5 and at 4:00pm on Dec. 6 in Memorial Hall.  The ensemble performed Parker and Shaw's arrangement of the traditional English tune "Deck the Halls", Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's "Rorate caeli', Luca Marenzio's "Hodie Christus natus est", Johann Sebastian Bach's "Wie soll ich dich empfangen", Orlando Gibbons' "Nunc dimmittis", William Byrd's "Lullaby, my sweet little baby", Georges Bizet's arrangement of the Provençal carol "De matin ai rescountra lou trin", Keyte and Parrott's arrangements of the Provençal carols "Guillô, pran ton tamborin!" and "Un flambeau, Jeannette, Isabelle!", E. Pettman's arrangement of the Basque carol "Sing lullaby", Claudio Monteverdi's "Cantate Domino", and Benjamin Britten's A Ceremony of Carols, Op. 28.
