Collegium Musicum Christmas Concert 2001

The Music Department presented the Collegium Musicum's 2001 Christmas concert at 7:00pm on Sat., Dec. 8 and at 4:00pm on Sun., Dec. 9 in Memorial Hall. The ensemble performed Thomas Tallis' "O nata lux de lumine", Henry Purcell's "My Soul Doth Magnify the Lord" and "Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant", Morton Lauridsen's "O nata lux de lumine", William Byrd's "Justorum animae", the anonymous carol "There is no rose", J. Rutter's arrangement of the Appalachian carol "I wonder as I wander", the 16th century carol "Swete was the song the Virgin sang" (arr. T. Hamond), J.H. Hopkins' "Three Kings of orient", T. Arbeau's "Ding, dong! Merrily on high", and Benjamin Britten's "A Ceremony of Carols, Op. 28".
