Helding/Blyth Duo Performs

The Music Department presented a repeat performance of "This is my Letter to the World," a concert by the Helding/Blyth Duo with guest actress Karen Lordi, at 4:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  The duo performed Tobias Picker's "Old and Lost Rivers" and "Congregationalist Hymn"; Lori Laitman's "I'm Nobody" and "If I..."; Jake Heggie's "I shall not live in vain," "If you were coming in the fall," and "It makes no difference abroad"; William Bolcom's "The bustle in a house"; and Aaron Copland's "Nature, the gentlest mother," "Dear March, come in!", "When they come back," "There came a wind like a bugle," "I've heard an organ talk sometimes," "Why do they shut me out of Heaven?", "Heart, we will forget him," "Sleep is supposed to be," "I felt a funeral in my brain," "The world feels dusty," "Going to Heaven!", and "The Chariot."
