Dickinson Helps Form Women's Sports League

Dickinson along with eight other schools in Maryland and Pennsylvania have joined together to form a independent women's athletic league called Penn-Mar. The participating schools were Franklin and Marshall, Lebanon Valley, Gettysburg, Elizabethtown, Western Maryland, Messiah, Wilson, and York. Field Hockey was the first sport to be in the conference and their first game was September 21, 1977.
