Longsdorff, Zatae
A set of four bands of leather, beaded with pink, teal, dark blue, red, and yellow beads. These items are believed to be from the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes at Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho, and belonged to Zatae Longsdorff, class of 1887.

A leather knife sheath believed to be from the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes at Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho. The sheath is decorated with leather tassels with bells and intricate bead work in red, green, light blue, yellow, white and dark blue beads. This object was owned by Zatae Longsdorff, class of 1887.

A pair of tan leather moccasins believed to be from the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes at Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho. The pair of moccasins are decorated with an intricate beaded floral design with pink, yellow, gold, blue, black, green and white beads. One of the flaps of fabric around the ankle is trimmed with dark blue and red fabric. This pair of moccasins belonged to Zatae Longsdorff, class of 1887.

A large pouch made of tan leather with a handle, leather tassels and intricate bead work using red, green, white, blue, black and pink beads. The handle is dyed blue and attached with twine and leather bands to the top of the pouch. This item is believed to be from the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes at Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho, and belonged to Zatae Longsdorff, class of 1887.

A small gold metal pendent featuring a stamped seal of the New Hampshire Medical Society celebrating fifty years. "New Hampshire Medical Society" is engraved around the seal. On the back is a name and date engraved "Zatae L. Straw 1892-1942". This object belonged to Zatae Longsdorff, class of 1887.

A pair of large shell earrings believed to be from the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes at Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho. A braided piece of brown metal in looped through each of the pink and white circular shell pieces. On each earring is an etching of a male deer. The edges of the shells are scalloped and one of the earrings is damaged. These earrings belonged Zatae Longsdorff, class of 1887.

Two small tan leather drawstring pouches believed to be from the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes at Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho. One pouch is decorated with intricate bead work with red, blue and yellow beads. The other pouch is decorated with embroidered patterns in red and blue and features leather tassels at the bottom. Each pouch is tied off with a drawstring at the top. These pouches belonged to Zatae Longsdorff, class of 1887.

The toy is decorated with pink, green, red and blue bead work and a bundle of black cloth meant to represent a baby bundled in the cradleboard. A long multicolored hemp rope is attached to the back of the cradleboard. This item is believed to be from the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes at Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho, and belonged to Zatae Longsdorff, class of 1887.

Two trapezoidal shaped beaded leather arm or leg bands believed to be from the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes at Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho. The bands are approximately 11” by 6.5” and are intricately and identically decorated with light blue, red, yellow, green, white, and dark blue beads and have leather five leather strings on each short end. These objects were owned by Zatae Longsdorff, class of 1887.
