Members of the Dickinsonian editorial staff travel to Lewisburg for a conference of the Intercollegiate Newspaper Association, of which current editor-in-chief Paul Gorsuch '40 is president. Union Philosophical Society reverses their previous decision and accepts Belles Lettres' invitation for an inter-society debate. The Mermaid is returned, and President Fred P. Corson announces that it will move to the Tome Scientific Building, replaced by a replica on top of Old West.
