Three new professors are added to the faculty: Russel I. Thompson, Education and Psychology; Walter Thomas, German; and Mary B. Taintor, French.  Dr. J.F. Brown of the Pennsylvania State Department of Science and Research plans to take charge of a demonstration sponsored by the Scientific Club of liquid air.  Kenneth Reynolds is nominated to head the Men's Senate, the primary student governing body, in 1928-1929.  The senior picnic is a great success, including the school band, athletic events, and lighthearted socializing.  Also, Dickinson hopes to send three track and field athletes to the olympic trials after positive performances in the Penn Relays: Gunby, Shirk, and Taylor.
