In this edition, Professor Jeffrey Poelvoorde wrote a lecture called, "Feminism as the Death of Culture," which caused quite a stir on campus between groups who agreed and disagreed. The Study Group on the Academic Program, which was commissioned by the College President and works with the Academic Program Committee, identified seven major concerns with the academics at Dickinson. A sub-committee made up of five students and one member of the personnel to advise on tenure decisions that was mandated by the faculty handbook has not been made yet, and measures are now taken to alleviate that issue. Students participate in Oxfam's Fast For a World Harvest on campus. Men's Soccer wins the ECAC Southern Division Soccer Championship.
