The design features the text "Lord Mayor's Challenge The Absent Guest The War on Want" within a black circle. On the back is the maker's information in red that reads "LIVERPOOL ROAD ENGLAND POTTERY LTD. STOKE ON TRENT". This item belonged to Thomas Edward Munce, Jr., class of 1939.

A white bowl with scalloped edges and a gold trim. In the center of the bowl is an illustration in red of the gate that leads across the academic quad to Old West. On the reverse side there is text in red on the bottom of the bowl that reads "Cumberland-Carlisle Bi-Centenial 1751 1951 made expressly for Carlisle.  Penna Musical Arts Club first edition". This object belonged to Velva Diven Daihl, class of 1927.

In the center of the plate is a collage of illustrations in red of important sites in Carlisle, including (clockwise from the top) the Cumberland County Courthouse, Dickinson School of Law's Trickett Hall, County Jail, the Doorway of Old West, the Molly Pitcher Monument, and Hoff Hall, the USAF Information School on the Carlisle Barracks. A tea set and book owned by Elizabeth Anna Low, Class of 1891. The white china tea cup and saucer are hand painted by Sarah Yocum with cherubs and gold stars, with gilt on the edges and tea cup handle. The tea cup and saucer are accompanied by the book with a ripped and yellowing cover titled "Tea Cup - Fortune Telling". The text on the cover reads 'No end of strange things are discussed over a cup of tea and not infrequently a talk about divination. In this book will be found more than is usually known about the art of "Tea Cup Fortune Telling."' On the back of the cover is a listing for similar publications in black text.
