The Department of Music presented a Noonday concert featuring students singing a program of nearly twenty songs: Giacomo Carissimi's "Deh,  Contentatevi"; Johann Sebastian Bach's "Komm in mein Herzens Haus"; Georg Friedrich Handel's "Verdi Prati", "O Sleep, why dost thou leave me?", and "Ombra Mai fu"; Thomas Arne's "Air from 'Comus'"; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Deh vieni, non tardar", "Deh vieni alla finestra", "Durch Zartlichkeit", and "Vedrai, carino"; Franz Schubert's "Die Taubenpost" and "Die Forelle"; Robert Schumann's "Seit ich ihn gesehen"; Edvard Grieg's "In the Boat"; Gabriel

1932 Orchestra Spring Concert

The College Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Ralph Schecter, performed a concert of classical music in Bosler Hall on May 6, 1932.  They performed Beethoven's "Symphony in C Major", Mendelssohn's "Capriccio Brilliante", Greig's "The Last Spring", Schubert's "Minuet in B Minor" and "Moment Musical", and Mozart's "Serenade--Eline Kleine Nachtmusik".

Noonday Concert

The Department of Music presented a Noonday Concert featuring performances by the College Brass Ensemble, as well as other student and faculty musicians. The Brass Ensemble played Johann Pezel's "Sonata #2" from Hora Decima, Johann Sebastian Bach's "Contra punctus #1" from The Art of the Fugue, and Ingolf Dahl's "Music for Brass Instruments".

1970 College-Community Orchestra Winter Concert

The College-Community Orchestra presented their annual winter concert at 3:00pm in Mathers Theatre. The orchestra performed Charles Ives' "Tone Roads #1", John Dowland's "Flow My Tears (Lachrimae)", Robert Schumann's "4th Movement from the Symphony #3", Igor Stravinsky's "Double Canon; Raoul Dufy, In Memoriam", Terry Riley's "In C", and Ives' "Tone Roads #3" and "Fugue in C Major: 3rd movement from the Symphony #4".

Choir and Orchestra Present "An Afternoon with Franz Schubert"

The College Choir and the College-Community Orchestra presented "An Afternoon with Franz Schubert" at 3:00pm in Mathers Theatre. The Schubert pieces selected for this program were "Stabat Mater Dolorosa", "Symphony 9 in C Major", "Mass in G Major", "Sanctus and Benedictus", and "Agnus Dei".

The Department of Music presented a Noonday Concert featuring performances by students and faculty in a program of seven pieces: Henry Loeb's "Music for Pianist", Mozart's "In diesen Heil'gen Hallen" from Die Zauberflote and "Two Scenes from Act II, the Finale of Die Zauberflote", Purcell's "Arise ye Subterranean Winds", Michael Head's "Money, O", and Schutz's "Ich beuge meine Knie" and "Furchte dich nicht". 

1970 Spring Choir Concert

The College Choir presented their spring concert in Mathers Theatre at 3:00pm. The Choir sang Giovanni Gastoldi's "Three Balletti", Gabriel Faure's "Cantique de Jean Racine", Paul Hindemith's "Five Songs on Old Texts", Alfred Swan's "Song of Praise for Saint Nicholas", and Johannes Brahms' "Three Motets, Opus 110" and "Liebeslieder Walzer, Opus 52". The Chapel Choir made an appearance at the concert, singing "Five Canticles for the Russian Orthodox Church" by Swan. Two concert pianists, Pong Hi-Park and Frances Chang, performed with the choir as special guest artists. 

Noonday Concert

Students and faculty of the Music Department presented the April 7 Noonday Concert. Darby MacKenzie played Ludwig van Beethoven's "Sonata Opus 10 No. 1--Finale", as well as an original composition,"Arise, my love", on which he was accompanied by soprano Bonnie Schwabe. Beth Bullard and Ken Laws played "Entracte" by Jacques Ibert. Finally, Linda Cline and Joan Boytim performed Henry Purcell's "Nymphs and Shepherds", Emmanuele Astorga's "Per non Pernar", and Samuel Barber's "Sure on this Shining Light".
