To open her season, Dickinson played against Western Maryland in her home field. The college won 14-1 playing an errorless game. The new pitcher, Charles Langstaff had struck out fifteen men.

Forrest E. Craver (Class of 1899) became the head coach of the Dickinson Football team. As the Dickinsonian reported, Craver was "elected... by the graduate advisory committee of the Dickinson College Athletic Association." Professor Craver also continued to teach Greek at Dickinson.

The Dickinson freshman and varsity football games played alternate quarters in a football game against the Army Post, proceeds from which benefited the unemployed of Carlisle.  Dickinson won the game 39-0.

The sophomores won by 21-17 the annual Button Game, a basketball game between the sophomores and first years that determines whether the first years must continue to wear their identifying buttons.  Harry Kane, Milt Davidson, and Joe Lipinski were the outstanding players for the sophomores.

The final competitions of Dickinson's first intramural boxing season were held in the Alumni Gymnasium with an audience of almost 900 people.

Nine female students from Dickinson attended Bucknell University's experimental "Play Day", at which representatives from various local colleges were divided into teams that competed in baseball, tennis, archery, hockey, volleyball, and handball.  The day culminated in dinner and dancing.

The sophomores won the annual Button Game, a basketball tournament between the sophomore and freshman classes to determine whether freshmen will be permitted to stop wearing their buttons, with a score of 35-27.
