The Cultural Affairs Committee presented a concert by the Baltimore Symphony Woodwinds in Bosler Hall at 8:00pm.
The Cultural Affairs Committee presented Phyllis Curtin, a soprano from the Metropolitan Opera Association, in a concert in Bosler Auditorium at 8:00pm. Curtin was accompanied by Ryan Edwards at the piano.
The Men's Glee Club performed at 8:00pm in Bosler Hall for their Christmas concert, A Christmas Carol. Their program of thirteen songs included Praetorius' "Lo, How a Rose ere Blooming", Leintovitch's "Carol of the Bells", Sullivan's "The Shepherds Chorus", Davis' "Carol of the Drum", Niles' "I Wonder as I Wander", Lefebre's "Greensleeves", Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus", Kountz's "The Sleigh" and "The First Noel", de Paur's "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", Bullard's "Winter Song", Livingston's "Silver Bells", and Heath's "Deck the Halls".

H. M. S. Pinafore, or The Lass Who Loved a Sailor, a comedic opera by W. S. Gilbert and Arthur S. Sullivan, opened at 8:30pm at Lamberton Junior High School. Presented by the Department of Music, the production ran November 9 and 10.
The Men's Glee Club performed in Bosler Hall at 8:00pm for their annual spring concert. Their program of eleven songs included "A Might Fortress is Our God", "The Battle of Jericho", "Down in the Valley", "Marching to Praetoria", "It's a Grand Night for Singing", "Give Me Your Tired Your Poor", "For Men Only", "Standing on the Corner", "There is Nothing Like a Dame", "The Wiffenpoof Song", and a "Dickinson College Medley".
The Department of Music and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia presented pianist Jeffrey Hollander in a concert in Bosler Hall at 8:15pm.
Bass-baritone William Warfield, accompanied by Willard Straight at the piano, performed a program of nineteen songs in Bosler Hall at 8:00pm.

The Cultural Affairs Committee presented The Modern Jazz Quartet in a concert in Lamberton Auditorium at 8:00pm. Comprised of piano, bass, vibraharp and drums, the quartet performed a program of sixteen pieces.
The Turnau Opera performed Cosi Fan Tutte (Women are Like That), an opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, at 8:00pm in Bosler Auditorium. The event was presented by the Cultural Affairs Committee of the Dickinson College Student Sentate.
The Concert Chorale and the College Choir presented the annual Christmas music concert at 8:00pm in the College Chapel. They sang Bach's "Motet III: Jesus Priceless Treasure", Leontovitch's "Carol of the Bells", Holst's "Christmas Day", Gevaert's "A Joyful Christmas Song", Gallus' "Motet: Regem Natum", Schuetz's "Psalm: Cantate Domino", Tchaikovsky's "Legend", Willan's "Motet: "Hodie Christus Natus Est", and Verdi's "Te Deum".

The Cultural Affairs Committee presented world-renowned sitarist Ravi Shankar in a concert in Bosler Hall at 8:00pm. Shankar was accompanied by Kanai Dutta on tabla and N. C. Mullick on tamboura for his American tour, sponsored by the Asia Society Performing Arts Program.
The Men's Glee Club, directed by Harry B. Danner, presented their annual spring concert at 8:15pm in Bosler Hall. For the first part of their program the men sang Bach-Wilson's "Glory to God"; Palestrina's "Adoremus Te"; Purcell's "Trumpet Song", featuring Douglas Johnson in a trumpet solo; Waring's "Navy Hymn'', featuring soloist Donald Reade; and Wilhousky's "Battle Hymn of the Republic".
The Department of Music and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a national music fraternity, presented a music festival in Bosler Hall on April 28 and 29 at 8:15pm. The festival featured performances from several musical organizations. The Opera Workshop presented the first act of Die Fledermaus (The Bat), a comic operetta by Johann Strauss, for the first part of the festival. Then the Concert Chorale performed "Psalm of Joy", Luigi da Vittoria's "O Magnum Mysterium", and Jack Jarrett's "In Praise of Johnny Appleseed.
The Concert Chorale, under the direction of Jack Jarrett, gave a concert in Bosler Auditorium at 8:15pm. The Brass Quintet and two accompanists, Lynn Riethmiller and Marianne Huddy, performed as well in this choral show presented by the Department of Music. Their program of twelve pieces was also performed at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, Maryland and All Souls Unitarian Church in Washington, D.C. on April 22 and 23, respectively.
Pianist Robert Goldsand performed a program of ten pieces at Lamberton Junior High School at 8:15pm. The event was sponsored by the students of Dickinson College.
Classic guitarist Rey de la Torre gave a concert in Bosler Hall at 8:00pm.
Professor Jack Jarrett, accompanied by Leonard Phillips at the piano, gave a vocal recital of German Lieder at 8:15pm in Bosler Auditorium.

Violinst Tossy Spivakovsky, accompanied by Leon Pommers at the piano, gave a concert in Bosler Hall at 8:00pm. Six pieces comprised Spivakovsky's program.
The Dickinson debate team lost to Westminster College after arguing the affirmative side of the question, "Resolved, that the Several States Should Adopt Unemployment Insurance".
The Greek Club produced a pageant of a traditional Greek wedding ceremony in the Union Philosophical Hall. Christina Meredith and DeHaven Woodcock directed and narrated the performance.
