The National Symphony Orchestra performed a program of four pieces at 8:00pm in the Alumni Gymnasium.
The College Choir, along with the College-Community Orchestra and guest artist Mariquita Moll, performed for the annual Founders' Day Concert at 8:15pm in Bosler Hall. The same performance was given the following day at 8:30pm at the Forum Building in Harrisburg. The program opened with the orchestra playing Mozart's "Symphony No. 40". The choir then sang Roberton's "All in the April Evening", Brahams' "How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place", Bryan's arrangement of "Jesus Walked This Lonesome Valley", and Dett's "Listen to the Lambs".
International balladeers Marais and Miranda gave a concert in Bosler Hall. Their program featured ballads from Europe, Africa and the United States.

The annual Founders' Day Concert was presented by the College Choir at 8:00pm in Bosler Hall. They were joined by Conway Hall alumnus John Charles Thomas and members of the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra opened the concert with Mozart's "Overture" from The Marriage of Figaro. The choir then sang Mozart's "Motet, 'Ave Verum Corpus'" and Frank's "Psalm CL".

Bachelor's Bend, an original musical by the Dickinson Follies, opened in the Carlisle High School Auditorium. A comedy set in the Wild West, the show ran March 11-12.

They began their show with Rogers and Hammerstein's "It's a Grand Night for Singing" from the film State Fair. The first half continued with Kern and Hammerstein's "Ol' Man River", Bartholomew's arrangement of "The Battle of Jericho", and Hathaway's "Mosquitoes".

The College Choir and the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra performed for the 1954 Founders' Day Celebration. The show program included Gluck's "Overture, Iphigenie en Aulide", Franck's "Psaume CL (Psalm 150)", Saint-Saens' "Le Deluge", Rubinstein's "Kamennoi-Ostrow", Mendelssohn's "Festival Song of Praise" and five Mozart pieces: "Graduale ad Festum BMV", "Motet, 'Ave Verum Corpus'", "Twelfth Mass", "Symphony No. 40" and "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik".

The choir sang twelve songs: Bach's "Break Forth O Beauteous Heavenly Light", Lenotovich's "Carol of the Bells", Childe's "The First Noel", Mozart's "Gloria in Excelsis", Cunkle's "A Musical Christmas Card", Ringwald's "Christmas Song", Berlin's "White Christmas", Dickinson's "Shepherds Story", Adams' "O Holy Night", Gruber-Stone's "Silent Night", Handel's "Hallelujiah", and a medley of traditional Christmas carols.
The Men's Glee Club presented Festival of Song, a Christmas-themed concert, in Bosler Hall at 8:00pm. The men opened their program singing Bullard's "Dartmouth Winter Song" and a tradtional Welsh song entitled "All Through the Night". They then sang a Christmas medley compiled by Oglesby featuring such carols as "O Come All Ye Faithful", "Jingle Bells", "Silent Night" and "I Wonder as I Wander". To finish the first half of the program, the club performed Tchervanow's "Sleigh Song", Berlin's "White Christmas", Forsyth's "The Bell-Man", and Richter's "The Creation".
