1910 Commencement Concert

The Glee and Mandolin Clubs performed a program of fourteen pieces for the 1910 commencement concert. The Glee Club's numbers included Ambrose's "The Mariner's Love", Metcalf's "A Tragic Story", and Shelley's "De Coppah Moon". The Mandolin Club performed Suppe's "Boccaccio March", Bohm's "Gavotte", and Bartlett's "A Dream". They combined to close the show with a "Toast to Old Dickinson".

1908 Commencement Concert

The Glee and Mandolin Clubs performed a program of twelve pieces for the 1908 commencement concert. They performed such songs as Douglas' "Good Fellowship", Braga's "The Angel's Serenade", Ball's "All the World Loves a Lover", O'Hare's "A Monkey Episode", Morse's "Won't You Be Ma Honey", Dean's "Whispers", Macy's "Mrs. Cosy's Boarding House", Saint-Saens' "Le Cygne", Arnold's "Dream Thoughts", and King's "A Toast to Old Dickinson". 

1906 Commencement Concert

The Glee and Mandolin Clubs performed a program of fourteen pieces for the 1906 commencement concert in Bosler Hall. Their program featured such pieces as Hinchman and Gill's "Evening Song", selections from The Isle of Spice, Tosti's "Good-bye", Stauffer and Hinchman's "Hurrah for Our Colors", Neilmoret's "Moonlight", Parks' "The Goblins 'll get You", Schmann's "Traumerei", DeKoven's "Tinkers' Song", Parks' "Until the Dawn", and King's "Campus Jingle" and "Alma Mater". 

Lyric Club Concert

The Lyric Club, under the direction of John Craig King, performed in Bosler Hall. The vocalists were accompanied by a violinist, a cellist and, a pianist. In the first half of the program, they sang Donzetti's "Italia, Italia, Beloved", Weiss' "Horst du das Machtige Klingen", Grieg's "Einsamer Wanderer", Gibson's "A Summer's Lullaby" and "The Elfman", Haesche's "Cossack Folk Song" and "Hungarian Folk Song", Arditi's "Magnetic Waltz", Piccolimini's "Whisper and I Shall Hear", and Wood's "Come O'er the Sea".

1904 Commencement Concert

Their program featured such songs as King's "Noble Dickinsonia", Melville's "The Darkies Drill", Tours' "Symphonique", Rycroft's "Dear Old Pipe", Keller-Bela's "Lustspiel Overture", Stauffer-Hinchman's "Hurrah for Our Colors", Morse's "Dear Old Girl", Holzmann's "Uncle Sammy", Witmark's "We're All Good Fellows", Millet's "We Love to go to Dickinson", and Stauffer-Hinchman's "1904 Melange". 

1903 Commencement Concert

The Dickinson College Combined Musical Clubs performed a program of twelve numbers for the 1903 commencement concert in Bosler Memorial Hall. The Glee Club sang such songs as King's "Noble Dickinsonia", Atkinson's "Medley", Malmene's "Tubal Cain", Geibel's "Little Cotton Dolly", Conchois' "Toreador's Love Song", and Millet's "We Love to go to Dickinson". The Mandolin Club played Hildreth's "Repeeta Waltz", Eichberg's "Aria from Norman", Godard's "Berceuse", and Rolfe's "The Happy Hayseed". Together the clubs performed Stauffer's "The Red and the White" and "1903 Melange". 

1901 Commencement Concert

The Glee, Mandolin, and Guitar Clubs performed a program of thirteen numbers for the 1901 commencement concert. The Glee Club sang King's "Noble Dickinsonia", Kremser's "Mistress Dorothy", Vogrich's "Jobberwock Ballad", Hawley's "They Kissed, I Saw Them do it", Shattuck's "Negro Medley", and Bailey's "On the Move". The Mandolin Club played Armstrong's "Keystone State March", Tocaben's "Tuyo Siempre", Sousa's "Hail to the Spirit of Liberty", and Weidt's "Montclair Galop".

1900 Commencement Concert

The Music Association, consisting of the College Orchestra and Men's Glee Club, performed their 1899-1900 program during commencement weekend. The Orchestra opened the show with Holzmann's "A Bunch of Blackberries". They played several other songs throughout the show including Herbert's "Mazourka", Fulton's "Kinky Kinks", and Herbert's "Singing Girl". The Glee Club sang Lindey's "When the Starlight Glids the Stream", Trotere's "Tareador Hola", Stone's "Across the Seas", Trecannion's "Life of Youth" and "On the Road to Mandalay", and Damrosch's "Danny Deever". 

1893 Commencement Concert

The College Orchestra and the Dickinson Quartette performed twelve pieces in Bosler Hall for the 1893 commencement. The musicians played "Dickinson Overture", Adam's "Comrades in Arms", Singelee's "Pastorale", Smith's "Creole Love Song", Yale's "Matin Bell", Herman's "Salvation Army Patrol" and "Cocoanut Dance", Nicolai's "Tarry with Me", DeBeriot's "Andante et Rondon Russe", Shattock's "Midnight Bells", and Reeves' "A Night Alarm".

Glee and Banjo Clubs Perform

After returning from their winter tour, the Glee and Banjo clubs performed their 1891-1892 program in Carlisle. They performed such pieces as Smart's "A Capstan Chorus", Armstrong's "Normandie March", Honore's "Alikanzander", Zikoff's "Coeur Atout Polka", Eno's "Piccaninny Dance", Macy's "Simple Simon", Armstrong's "Excelsior Medley", and Kuecken's "The Northman's Song". 

Glee Club Performs

The Dickinson College Men's Glee Club opened their 1890 season with a performance at the Opera House. Their program included Moore's "We Meet Again to-night", Bishop's "Chough and Crow", Moore's "Oft in the Stilly Night", Becker's "Vocal Marche", Kochner's "Bill of Fare", Shepard's "Vocal Mazourka" and "Blow, Bugle, Blow", Millet's "Old Dickinson", and Vogul's "Der Valse". 

1882 Choral Concert

A choral concert was given on the evening of April 20 in the Sentinel Opera House. Twelve pieces were performed with one intermission. The first half of the program included such pieces as Ciro Pinsuti's "A Spring Song", Luigi Bordese's "The Last Hours of Joan of Arc", Geibel's "The Watcher", Chopin's "Polonaise", and A. Geibel's "Winter". For the second half of the program, the musicians performed C. A.

1881 Choral Concert

A choral performance to benefit the Hamilton Library Association was held at the Sentinel Opera House. The chorus was directed by Professor A. Newberry in a two-part "grand concert". The singers performed Bishop's "Hark Apollo Strikes his Lyre", Wallace's "Holy Mother Guides his Footsteps", Sullivan's "Let Me Dream Again", White's "Sunrise", Poniatowsky's "Yeoman's Wedding Song", Kullak's "The Gazelle", and "The Spanish Flower Girl" for the first half of the concert.

Mermaid Players' Production of "Marat/Sade" Opens

The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton under the direction of Marquis de Sade, a play by Peter Weiss, opened at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. Called Marat/Sade for short, this production was presented by the Mermaid Players and ran November 1-3 and 5.
