William Windom performed his work Thurber at 8:10pm in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. Thurber, one of Windom's one man shows, featured selections from James Thurber's cartoons, reports, stories and fables. This event was part of the Cultural Affairs series.
An exhibit entitled "First Hand Civil War Era Drawings from the Becker Collection" consisting of drawings and illustrations from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper was on display in the Trout Gallery from June 7 to October 19, 2013, as part of Dickinson's House Divided project.

An exhibit entitled "Image! Text! Action! Posters and Newsreels from the American Home Front, 1941-1945" featuring works donated to the Trout Gallery by Robert and Francisca Kan, was on display in the aforementioned gallery from June 3 to August 13, 2011.
An exhibit entitled "This is what happens when you meet a Stranger in the Alps", consisting of works created by participants in the studio art senior seminar, was on display in the Trout Gallery from April 29 to May 22, 2011.
An exhibit entitled "Red Gold: West African Currency Objects", curated by Matthew Morowitz '11 from the collection of Dr. David '62 and Karina Rilling, was on display in the Trout Gallery from March 4 to August 6, 2011.
An exhibit entitled "Above & Below: Skyscrapers to Subways in New York City, 1913-1949", organized by Syracuse University, was on display in the Trout Gallery from June 4 to August 21, 2010. It explored how printmakers viewed the city and its icons during this period.
The fall 2010 Art Historical Methods seminar curated an exhibit entitled "Bawdy Brits & West End Wit: Satirical Prints of the Georgian Era" that was on display in the Trout Gallery from February 18 to April 16, 2011.
The annual exhibition of work by senior studio art majors was entitled "found and lost and found" in 2010 and was on display in the Trout Gallery from April 30 to May 23.
An exhibit entitled "Associated American Artists: Art by Subscription", consisting of materials loaned by the Springfield Museum of Art, was on display in the Trout Gallery from September 3 to October 16, 2010. The exhibit featured lithographs from the Associated American Artists' periodic catalogue of prints, which democratized art collecting in 1930s America.
An exhibit of lithographs from the renowned modern art publication Derriere le miroir was on display in the Trout Gallery from September 3 to February 19, 2011.
The fall 2008 Art Historical Methods seminar curated an exhibit entitled "Through the Lens: Studies in Photography" that was on display in the Trout Gallery from March 4 to March 28, 2009.
The annual exhibition of graduating studio art majors' work was entitled "Liminal" in 2009 and was on display in the Trout Gallery from April 10 to April 25.
An exhibit entitled "A Revolutionary Image: Thomas Sully's Portrait of Benjamin Rush" was on display in the Trout Gallery from October 9, 2009, to February 20, 2010. The newly-acquired portrait was displayed along with various artifacts and papers from Rush's life.

The fall 2007 Art Historical Methods seminar curated an exhibit entitled "America en plein air: Impressions by Henry Ryan MacGinnis" that was on display in the Trout Gallery from January 25 to April 12, 2008. Richard Frey, '90, was influential in securing the loans of the MacGinnis paintings.
An exhibit entitled "New Lives for Asian Images" featuring many pieces of Asian art from the collection that had never before been displayed was in the Trout Gallery from February 8 to March 29, 2008.
An exhibit entitled "The Dogon: Spiritual Forces in Action", curated by Anabella Atach '08, was on display in the Trout Gallery from April 11 to July 3, 2008. It explored spiritual imagery in the artifacts of the Dogon people of West Africa.
The Shenandoah Shakespeare Express performed Othello at 7:30pm in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium.
Lone Star, a play by James McLure, opened at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. Presented by the Conodoguinet Company, the show ran from September 1-3. The production was funded by a grant from the Presidential Discretionary Fund, which allows faculty members to work together on summer projects, and thus was produced and performed by Dickinson faculty.
The Man, Not the Myth, an original dance piece by Tamara Baker, opened at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. A free event, the piece interpreted the musical Jesus Christ Superstar through dance.
The Mikado, a musical by William Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan, opened at 8:00pm in Lamberton Auditorium. Presented by the Department of Music and the Opera Workshop, the production ran April 24-25.
The Heiress, a play by Ruth and Augustus Goetz, opened at 8:30pm in Belles Lettres Hall. Presented by the Mermaid Players, the production ran from April 11-13. The play is based on a novel by Henry James.
