DanceWorks, a show featuring works-in-progress by both students and faculty, opened at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. A more informal fall dance concert, the show ran from November 11-12 and was presented by Dance Theatre Group and the Department of Dramatic Arts.
As the 1994 artists-in-residence, the nationally acclaimed Dance Alloy company performed on October 27 at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. The company's artistic director, Mark Taylor, worked with members of Dance Theatre Group who performed a piece with the company at this show.
Three Sisters, a play by Anton Chekhov, opened at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. Presented by the Department of Dramatic Arts and the Mermaid Players, the production ran from October 7-11.
The internationally acclaimed All New Jose Greco Company, a Spanish dance company, performed in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium on October 3 at 7:00pm. Presented by the Central Pennsylvania Consortium, students from Dickinson and Franklin and Marshall Colleges had the opportunity to perform with the company.
The Lab Shows, which showcase experimental theatre and dance works developed by Dickinson students, took place on May 6 and 7 for the 1993-1994 academic year.
Dance Theatre Group's annual winter concert, presented in association with the Department of Dramatic Arts, took place in Mathers Theatre on March 4 at 8:00pm. The performance featured new choreography developed by students throughout the 1993-1994 academic year.
Senior Natalie Marrone, a 1993-1994 Weiss Prize recipient, presented a concert of work inspired by her two majors: Dramatic Arts (dance emphasis) and English. Her work was performed by Dickinson students. The performance took place in Mathers Theatre on February 26 at 8:00pm.

As part of the bicentennial celebrations, Dickinson presented an exhibit entitled "Two Hundred Years of American Art" that included a painting from the collection of Meyer Potamkin called "An Alumnus Salutes Dickinson's 200th Anniversary". The exhibit ran from November 19th, 1972 to January 3rd, 1973.
A retrospective exhibit featuring intaglios by Maricio Lasansky, on loan from Dr. Webster Gelman, was held in the Holland Union Building from September 4th to the 22nd, 1972. Lasansky assisted the exhibit designers in choosing the works to be displayed.
An exhibition of paintings and drawings by K. D. Kulkarni was held in the Holland Union Building from April 4th to the 30th, 1970.
An exhibition of Tom V. Schmitt's recent paintings was held as part of the 1966 Arts Festival. One painting was selected by student-faculty vote to join the College's permanent collection.
The 1966 Arts Festival occurred over the last week in April and the first week in May of that year. It featured concerts by the College Choir, Orchestra, Collegium, and individual musical artists as well as lectures, films, theatre productions, and exhibits.
John D. Pusey, Artist-in-Residence at Dickinson College, presented a retrospective exhibition of works he created throughout his life. The exhibit consisted of oils, watercolors, and drawings and ran from November 5th to the 23rd, 1960.
A memorial exhibition of etchings from the collection of President Eugene Allen Noble was on display from April 15th through Commencement, 1955. The exhibit featured fifty etchings selected to span the course of art history.
An exhibit of paints, oils, water colors, and collages by Hester Cunningham was on display in the Bosler Library from May 15th to June 8th, 1949.
The American Primitive Art Exhibit featured paintings from the mid-nineteenth century by American amateur artists and schoolgirls. It also featured three "wooden Indians." The exhibit ran from November 20th to December 6th, 1947.
The Belles Lettres Literary Society held an exhibit of items describing the history of Dickinson College. The exhibit consisted mainly of papers, engravings, issues of The Dickinsonian, and photographs from throughout the College's history.
At the 1928 Commencement, an art exhibit comprised of donations by Andrew Carnegie was on view in Denny Hall. The exhibit featured 900 pictures, photographs and colored reproductions, a case of mounted textiles, a complete set of Rembrandt's etchings, a set of original etchings, and, courtesy of the Harrisburg Alumnae, 300 colored reproductions of great paintings.
At the sesquicentennial dinner, nine portraits of prominent Dickinsonians were presented to the college. The portraits presented were of Benjamin Rush, Matthew Brown, William Henry Denny, William Henry Allen, Robert Alexander Lamberton, Richard Alexander Fullerton Penrose, John Hays, Edward William Biddle, and John Frederick Mohler.
Boyd Lee Spahr, Esq., presented a portrait of President James Wilson to the College. The painter, Horace T. Carpenter, was present at the ceremony.
Mrs. Merle White Allen presented a portrait by George P. A. Healy of President James Buchanan to the college. The presentation ceremony occurred in the Bosler Hall chapel; the portrait was then displayed with an exhibit of other portraits by Healy and his contemporaries.
Tom Foolery: An evening of One-Act plays by Tom Stoppard opened at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. Two one-act plays, After Magritte and The Real Inspector Hound, made up this production. Presented by the Department of Dramatic Arts and the Mermaid Players, the production ran from April 8-12.
King Lear, a play by William Shakespeare, opened at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. The title role of Lear was played by David Brubaker by arrangement with Actor's Equity Association. Presented by the Department of Dramatic Arts and the Mermaid Players, the production ran from February 11-16, including a 3:00pm matinee performance on February 13.
