An exhibit entitled "Context and Collaboration for Contemporary Art: The Sculptural Program for 580 California Street" displayed models by Muriel Castanis for sculpture he designed for Philip Johnson and John Burgee's most recently completed building. The exhibit was on display in the Trout Gallery from August 29th to September 12th, 1986.
An exhibit entitled "A Selection of Prints from the Dickinson College Collection," celebrating the 150th anniversary of the first donation of art to the College, was on display in the Trout Gallery from October 14th to December 20th, 1986. The exhibit had been displayed in the Governor's Home the previous spring.
The Art Historical Methods seminar curated an exhibit entitled "A Treasure Chests of Recent Gifts to Dickinson College's Art Collection" from works donated to the College since 1983. The exhibit ran until February 27th, 1986.
An exhibit entitled "Reflections on 19th-Century Pennsylvania Landscape Photography" was on display in the Trout Gallery from September 17th to October 11th, 1986. Jay Ruby, the curator, opened the exhibit with a lecture.
An exhibit entitled "The Art and Science of Eadweard Muybridge" consisting of selections from the College's collection of photographic studies for Muybridge's Animal Locomotion was on display in the Trout Gallery from May 7th to June 9th, 1985. The exhibit was created to celebrate the centennial of the Tome Scientific Building.
The annual exhibition of paintings, sculpture ceramics, drawings, and prints by fine arts studio students was on display in the Trout Gallery from April 16th to May 3rd, 1985.
A student-created exhibit entitled "Dickinson College as an Architectural Environment" was on display in the Trout Gallery from March 8th to April 12th, 1985.
An exhibit entitled "Marjorie Strider: 10 Years, 1970-1980" was held in the Trout Gallery from January 25th to March 1st, 1985. Strider's Pop sculpture renderings of everyday objects were on display.
An exhibit of 17th-century Dutch old master paintings from the Mandel Collection was on display in the Trout Gallery from October 8th to December 20th, 1985.
An exhibit entitled "Etruscan Pottery: The Meeting of Greece and Etruria" was on display in the Trout Gallery from January 27th to March 16th, 1984. Mary E. Moser researched and created the exhibit from items on loan from the University of Pennsylvania.
An exhibit entitled "From Imagination to Evocation: Symbolist Drawings and Sketches" was on display in the Trout Gallery from October 25th to December 21st, 1984 in conjunction with a symposium on Symbolist Art and Literature held at Dickinson.
A travelling exhibit of Hmong textiles funded by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts was on display in the Trout Gallery from March 21st to April 13th, 1984. A demonstration of Hmong needlecraft technique was included in the exhibit.
A selection of Professor Dennis Akin's paintings, drawings, and stained glass from the years 1950-1984 were on display in a retrospective exhibit entitled "Some Visual Ideas About and For My Friends" in the Trout Gallery from September 7th to October 20th, 1984. A symposium was held in conjunction with the exhibit.
An exhibit entitled "11 Contemporary Latin American Artists: Works on Paper" was on display in the Trout Gallery from April 25th to June 9th, 1984. The works were on loan from the Museum of Modern Art of Latin America. The exhibit was intended "to celebrate and bring attention to Dickinson College's expanding role in the world community."
An exhibit of paintings, drawings and graphics by Wayne Thiebaud from the period 1961-1983 was on display in the Trout Gallery from April 29th to June 12th, 1983.
An exhibit of ceramics, textiles, and bronzes by Toshiko Takaezu was on display in the Trout Gallery from January 28th to March 18th, 1983. While on campus, Takaezu received the Arts Award.
The fall 1983 Art Historical Methods seminar created an exhibit entitled "The Bible and Twentieth-Century Artists" from the Potamkin collection that ran from November 29th, 1983 to January 13th, 1984.
An exhibit entitled "After Bedtime: Nighttime Scenes in Maurice Sendak's Book Illustrations" was displayed in the Trout Gallery from September 29th to November 23rd, 1983.
The freshman seminar "Conceiving Ourselves: The Human Figure in Art" culminated in this exhibit of works in the college collection. Each work on display was the focus of one seminar student's research for the semester. David Robertson led the seminar. The exhibit ran from November 29th to December 14th, 1990 in the Weiss Center.
An exhibit of enamels by V. Loginov inspired by his life in the USSR was displayed in the Weiss Center beginning October 30th, 1990. Loginov opened the exhibit with a lecture.
The annual spring dance concert, presented by the Department of Dramatic Arts and the Dance Theatre Group, opened at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. Featuring choreography by student and faculty choreographers, the show ran from April 27-29, the last show being a 3:00pm matinee.

As You Like It, a play by William Shakespeare, opened at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. Presented by the Department of Dramatic Arts and the Mermaid Players, the production ran from April 13-17.
The Lab Shows, a presentation of experimental theatrical works developed by Dickinson students, opened on May 4 at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. The pieces were also performed at 3:00pm on May 6. The Lab Shows were presented by the Mermaid Players and the Department of Dramatic Arts.
