The Trout Gallery sponsored an invitational exhibition of works related to AIDS in honor of "A Day without Art", the annual commemoration of the lives and creative talents lost due to AIDS. The exhibition was on display from November 19th to December 18th, 1993.
An exhibit of photographs by Rick Smolan, '72, entitled "From Alice to Ocean: Alone Across the Outback" was on display in the Trout Gallery from October 15th to December 18th, 1993.
An exhibit entitled "A Decade of Giving: The Trout Gallery, 1983-1993" highlighted works obtained by the Trout Gallery in its first decade of existence. The exhibit was on display from October 1st to November 13th, 1993.
From August 27th to September 25th, 1993, the Trout Gallery displayed an exhibit of new faculty member Ward Davenny's landscapes along with landscapes from the college collection. The exhibit had been displayed in the gallery the previous summer.
This exhibit featured landscapes from the college collection as well as landscape prints, drawings, and paintings by new studio faculty member Ward Davenny. It was on display in the Trout Gallery from May 21st to June 13th, 1993.
A selection of work produced by the students of studio art over the course of the academic year was on display in the Trout Gallery from April 15th to May 7th, 1993. The student-artists installed the exhibit.
A multimedia exhibit entitled "Fields of Vision: Selected Works by Contemporary Irish Artists" was on display in the Trout Gallery from March 3rd to April 9th in conjunction with the presentation of the Arts Award to Irish poet Seamus Heaney.
The Fall 1992 Art Historical Methods seminar produced an exhibit for the Trout Gallery entitled "The Guided Hand: European Prints in the Permanent Collection from Durer to Piranesi" that was on display from January 29th to February 24th, 1993. The exhibit explored the various styles and techniques of European printmaking.
An exhibit entitled "Leon Golub: Worldwide" consisting of an environmental work on the theme of state-sponsored violence began its national tour at the Trout Gallery, where it was on display from March 3rd to April 10th, 1992.

The Fall 1991 Art Historical Methods seminar created an exhibit entitled "Ordered Chaos: Surrealist Art from the Collection" that was on display in the Trout Gallery from January 31st to February 27th, 1992.
An exhibit entitled "China between the Revolutions: Photographs by Sidney D. Gamble 1917-1927" was on display in the Trout Gallery from November 13th to December 12th, 1992.
This Trout Gallery exhibit featured fifty nineteenth-century prints documenting American perceptions of Western expansion and was on display from October 2nd to November 7th, 1992.
An exhibit entitled "African, North American, Oceanic, Polynesian, and Balinese Works from the Permanent Collection", created by Assistant Professor of Fine Arts Melinda Schlitt, was on display in the Trout Gallery from August 28th to September 26th, 1992.
An exhibition entitled "Imagination and Enlightenment: Tibetan Tantric Art" was on display in the Trout Gallery from October 27th to December 18th as part of a program of films, musical performances and lectures celebrating the International Year of Tibet.
An exhibit consisting of Paintings for the Century by Professor Dennis Akin and The Water's Edge by Professor Robert Cavenagh, products of the two artists' sabbaticals, were on display in the Trout Gallery from September 5th to October 18th, 1991.
An exhibit entitled "The Afghan Folio" consisting of Luke Powell's photographs of the landscape and people of Afghanistan from 1974 to 1984 was on display in the Trout Gallery from May 7th to September 7th, 1991.
Selections of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photographs and drawings by students in Dickinson's fine arts studio program were on display in the Trout Gallery from April 18th to May 1st, 1991.

The Art Historical Methods Seminar of Fall 1990 created an exhibit from the Dickinson collection entitled "Trials and Triumphs: American Prints from the 1930s and 1940s." The exhibit was largely composed of prints donated by Mrs. Grace Linn. It was on display in the Trout Gallery from January 25th to February 28th, 1991.
Lysistrata, a play by Aristophanes, opened at 9:00pm in Mathers Theatre. Presented by the Mermaid Players, the production ran January 30-31, including an additional matinee performance on January 31 at 2:00pm. For this show, the title role of Lysistrata was played by Juliann Davidson.
Richard III, a play by William Shakespeare, opened at 8:00pm in Mathers Theatre. Presented by the Mermaid Players, the production ran October 24-25 and October 30-November 1. In this show, the title role of Richard III was played by Fred Morsell.
The Revengers Tragedy, a play by Cyril Tourneur, opened at 8:00pm in the Mermaid Players' Theatre. Presented by the Mermaid Players, the production ran February 21-22 and February 28-March 1.
The Menaechmi, a play by Plautus, opened at 8:00pm in the Little Theatre in the Holland Union Building. Presented by Project Africa and featuring members of the Dickinson faculty, the show ran November 14 and 15.
The Good Woman of Setzuan, a play by Bertolt Brecht, opened at 8:00pm in the Mermaid Players' Theatre. Presented by the Mermaid Players, the production ran October 25-26 and November 1-2.
