Denny Hall burns down due to faulty electrical wire. Two professors and several students sustain minor injuries and East College narrowly escapes fire caused by embers.
In this special supplement the Dickinsonian recounts the details of the Denny Hall fire, lists the educational materials lost, and the estimated cost to rebuild. The president and the college then plea for alumni support to raise funds to rebuild.
