Reverend John Miyahara, Director of Religious Life and Community Services, is called to active duty in the US Navy.  Dickinson pays tribute to 9/11 with a morning memorial service.  Dickinson hosts Jackson Katz, America's leading anti-sexist male activist and filmmaker.

Students and faculty unite to cope in the wake of the September 11th attacks. A community gathering was held at the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. The "New Science Building" is renamed "Tome" while the old Tome building is renamed "Stern."
