Plaques/Trophies

A small black and gold plastic trophy given to the Dickinson Mock Trial team by the American Mock Trial Association at a competition in 2002 in which the team received an honorable mention. The engraved gold plaque on the base reads "2002 American Tournament Honorable Mention". At the top of the trophy is a gold attachment that features a medallion with the text "AMERICAN MOCK TRIAL ASSOCIATION 1985" around the picture of a balance standing on the outline of the United States.

A black and gold plastic trophy won for sixth place by the Dickinson Mock Trial Team at the 2003 American Intercollegiate Mock Trial Tournament.The engraved text on the gold plaque on the base reads "2003 American Intercollegiate Mock Trial Tournament Sixth Place". At the top of the statue is a gold attachment featuring a medallion with the text "AMERICAN MOCK TRIAL ASSOCIATION 1985" around the picture of a balance sitting on the outline of the United States.

A black and gold plastic and wood trophy for the Pennsylvania State Individual Events Association Sweepstakes. On the wood base is a black plaque with the text "PENNSYLVANIA STATE INDIVIDUAL EVENTS ASSOCIATION SWEEPSTAKES SIXTH PLACE" engraved in gold. A gold plaque mounted on the base with the text "1998 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP" in black within the outline of the state of Pennsylvania, in between two black and gold columns holding up another wooden base with figurines attached to the top. Two of the gold plastic figurines are small eagles, one with a wing missing, and the one large figurine in the center is a winged victory figure with a wreath.

A tarnished silver cup trophy with two handles and engraving that reads "Univ.of Penna. 13th Annual Relay Races 1907 Broad Jump". This trophy belonged to Franklin Mt. Pleasant, Class of 1910.

A tarnished metal cup trophy with three handles and engraving on the front that reads "DICKINSON COLLEGE INTERSCHOLASTIC RELAY RACES FIRST PRIZE". The trophy belonged to Franklin Mt. Pleasant from the Class of 1910.

A silver tarnished trophy cup with two handles and engraving on the front that reads "Inter Collegiate Debating League of Pennsylvania". On the back the engraving reads "RECORD 1911 Dickinson aff. from State College Dickinson Neg. from Franklin & Marshall".

An inscribed silver bowl commemorating Dickinson College’s undefeated College Bowl team of 1966. The inscription reads "DICKINSON COLLEGE UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONS G. E. COLLEGE BOWL".

A 14” brass tarnished cup with two handles inscribed with "INTER-CLASS HOCKEY CHAMPIONS DICKINSON COLLEGE WOMEN" over a design of a pair of crossed hockey sticks and the names of the women’s hockey championship winners from 1932 to 1957.

A 15” brass tarnished cup inscribed with the names of the championship winners from 1931 to 1961.

A gold plate plaque on wooden shield with inscription honoring “Pappy” Hodge for service to the college community: "In recognition of more than 50 years of dedicated service to the College Community, The General Alumni Association of Dickinson College bestows this award of commendation on Paul "Pappy" Ellsworth Hodge May 20, 1972."

An oval-shaped wavy metal strip attached to a clear square plastic base with the text engraved "UNITED STATES STEEL FOUNDATION DICKINSON COLLEGE FOR IMPROVEMENT ALUMNI GIVING INCENTIVE AWARD AMERICAN ALUMNI COUNCIL", awarded to the college by the United States Steel Foundation.

A wavy oval-shaped metal strip attached to a square plastic base with the text engraved "UNITED STATES STEEL FOUNDATION DICKINSON COLLEGE FOR IMPROVEMENT ALUMNI GIVING INCENTIVE AWARD AMERICAN ALUMNI COUNCIL". In 1970 it was awarded to the college by the United States Steel Foundation.

A small triangular wooden base with a small gold metal mermaid attached at the top. An unattached gold metal plate is also included. This was used as a sample and was meant to be given for the Distinguished Alumni Award.

A small black wooden shield with the Commons Club seal in bronze and engraved with the text “Dickinson for Aye.” Two labels have been glued to the back.

A bronze shield featuring Phi Kappa Sigma insignia and motto “Stellis Aequus Durando.”

Two lacrosse sticks and the text "LEE LACROSSE CLUB STATE SIDE 1980"  inscribed plate mounted on a red background to commemorate a game between Dickinson and the Lee Lacrosse Club of southern England on April 27, 1980.

A bronze medallion on a wooden plaque with the inscription, "1949, Red Devils, Dickinson College, George Shuman Jr.", honoring George Shuman, Jr. for his performance in football in 1949.

 A bond from the Carlisle Borough Municipal Authority featuring the Dickinson College Project mounted on a black and gold lacquered wooden plaque.

A golden metal plaque featuring the raised emblem of Peking University in bronze and a gold plate with Chinese letters in red. The plaque is stored in a cloth covered box.

A rectangular wooden award plaque with gold-tone  medal reading "Westinghouse Corp Pennsylvania Electric Assoc." above a metal plate reading "Participant Seventh Annual College Debates on Energy 1987-88" in black text. This award was given to Jennifer Holm (Class of 1989) for her participation in the Westinghouse/Pennsylvania Electric College Debate on Energy. Her yellow and white name tag pin from the event is also included. It reads "Pennsylvania College Energy Debates, Jennifer Holm, Debater" in black text. 

The first Priestley Award medallion presented in 1952. The award is framed in a wooden shadow box backed with red velvet.

A small wooden shield shaped plaque with a golden plate inscribed with " OΔK Songfest, Best Small Group, 1964 Kappa Sigma, 1965 The Seldom Singers, 1966 The Seldom Singers".

A rectangular bronze plaque mounted on white base with the inscription "Music Rooms Presented by Class of 1953". On the back of the white base is the inscription in pencil "Inside White, top".
