The Collegium Musicum presented A Potpourri of Music from the 15th to 20th Century at 3:00pm in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium.
The Brass Ensemble, College Choir, College-Community Orchestra and Chapel Choir performed in a concert in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium at 8:00pm. Along with some guest artists, the groups performed Gabrieli's "Canzona for Brass Instruments", Wagner's "Prelude" and "Choral Finale" from Meistersinger, Mozart's "Non temer, amato bene", Berstein's "The Lark", and Beethoven's "Choral Fantasy for Piano, Chorus and Orchestra".
Pianist Darby Mackenzie and mezzo-soprano Mary Somerville performed in a joint recital at 3:30pm in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium.

Students and faculty performed a program featuring music such as Johannes Ockenghem's "Alma Redemptoris Mater", William Byrd's "Agnus Dei" from Missa Sine Nomine, and Johann Sebastian Bach's "Suite in B Minor for Flute and Strings".

The groups performed a program of five pieces: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Concerto No. 2 for Flute and Orchestra" and "Ave Verum Corpus", Carl Maria von Weber's "Concerto No. 1 for Clarinet and Orchestra", Samuel Barber's "Three Reincarnations", and Ralph Vaugh Williams' "Serenade to Music" featuring text from Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice.
1773: A Musical Revue opened in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. The show presented the history of Dickinson and was put on by faculty to celebrate the college's Bicentennial. It ran February 22-24.

The Department of Music presented a special Noonday Concert of French music in Memorial Hall of Old West. The program included Claude Gervaise's "Pavane and Galliarde", anonymously written songs "La Belle est au jardin d'amour" and "Viens aurore", Henriette Renie's "Esquisse" and "Angelus", Gabriel Faure's "Les Berceaux", Georges Hue's "Aux oiseaux", Andre Campra's "Charmant papillon", Marice Ravel's "Piece en forme de Habanera", Georges Bizet's "Chanson d'avril" and "Ouvre ton couer", and Claude Debussy's "Nuit d'etoiles".
Students and faculty of the Music Department worked with composer Darius Milhaud to present the premiere of his work Promesse de Dieu. The concert took place on May 19 as part of Dickinson's Bicentennial celebration.

Students and faculty played songs such as Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's "Ricercar del primo tuono", Franz Schubert's "Fruhlingstraume" and "Geheimes", Georg Philipp Telemann's "Piacevole non largo", Paul Hindemith's "Munter", Ludwig van Beethoven's "Rondo in C Major", Stephano Donaudy's "Sento nel core", Hugo Wolf's "Fussreise", David Popper's "Hungarian Rhapsody", and Alessandro Scarlatti's "Quartet in F major".
The Men's Glee Club performed a concert of sacred music at Allison Memorial church. The event was sponsored by Allison's Young People's Fellowship and was attended by parishioners and Dickinsonians.

The program included pieces of Renaissance and Baroque music by Johannes Ockeghem, John Dunstable, Guillaume Dufay, Johannes Ockeghem, G. P. da Palestrina, and Heinrich Schutz.

The concert featured performances by student musical groups including the Brass Ensemble, String Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet, as well as independent soloists and ensembles. They sang Clemens non Papa's "Adoramus te Christe", Heinrich Schutz "Selig sind die Toten", Ernest Bloch's "Silent Prayer and Devotion" from Sacred Service, Alfred Swan's "Stir up the Embers Sevenfold", and four motets by Francis Poulenc: "O Magnum Mysterium", "Quem vidistis pastores?", "Videntes stellam", and "Hodie Christus natus est".

The show began with the Glee Club singing A Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten, including "Wolcum Yole", "There is no Rose", "Balualow", "This Little Babe", and "Deo Gracias". Next, the Concert Chorale and the College Orchestra performed Johann Sebastian Bach's For Us a Child is Born.
