Dickinsonian, May 7, 1913

The baseball team loses to Villanova. Nisbet Day is celebrated on campus. Students are encouraged to attend the Y.M.C.A Summer Conference. The Freshman win the annual Cap Scrap, allowing them to do away with their flashy green caps and replace them with understated gray ones. The tennis and track teams both lose to the Navy athletes. The new staff of the Dickinsonian puts out its first issue. The Glee and Mandolin Clubs have a successful concert.

Heads for the YMCA program are chosen.  Nisbet Day is planned for May 1.  An annual tug-of-war between freshmen and sophomores is to be held on May 3.  The track and tennis seasons are underway.  The baseball team loses against Syracuse and Franklin & Marshall.  Interest in participation in summer military camps grows on campus, as a program of the Military Training Camps Association of the United States.

Dickinsonian, May 6, 1914

Nisbet Day is celebrated with a trip to the cemetery and an inspiring memorial address. The sophomore class beat the freshman class at a tug-of-war. The results of a tennis tournament are given. Dickinson loses to Gettysburg at the Gettysburg Track Meet. The Phi Kappa Delta fraternity becomes a part of the Phi Epsilon Pi fraternity.
