The Glee and Mandolin Clubs return after a tour comprised of ten concerts in three different states. President Reed requests submissions for a new college song. The writer of the song deemed the best will receive a prize. The Philadelphia Alumni Association holds its annual banquet, electing new officers and listening to a presentation regarding the glory of Dickinson. The New Jersey Alumni Association also holds their annual banquet, an event similar to that of the Philadelphia Alumni Association.

Special Interest Housing changes. Students burgled while on spring break in Costa Rica. Dickinson signs an agreement with the U.S. Army War College to deepen their relationship. The Skitchagenee Sophomore club held a dance at the Phi Kappa Psi house. President Reed told a story about improper youthful behavior, but the moral is lost on the student body. The Mohler Scientific club held a discussion of the Busch Magneto. A list of novels worth reading. Long essay titled "What Scared Belshazzer. The Varsity Show to be postponed until fall.

The baseball team loses to Villanova. Nisbet Day is celebrated on campus. Students are encouraged to attend the Y.M.C.A Summer Conference. The Freshman win the annual Cap Scrap, allowing them to do away with their flashy green caps and replace them with understated gray ones. The tennis and track teams both lose to the Navy athletes. The new staff of the Dickinsonian puts out its first issue. The Glee and Mandolin Clubs have a successful concert.

The track team defeats Muhlenberg 73-53, and the baseball team loses to Ursinus at home, 4-3. The tennis team loses to Franklin & Marshall. Sports players from the different teams are profiled, including George C. Moose and Kenneth Bruce Vaughn. The track team is reviewed by their coach. Performances of the Glee Club and the Dramatic Club are scheduled. Kenneth Vaughn is also placed in the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Members of the sophomore class are initiated into the Skitch-A-Genee Sophomore Society.

Heads for the YMCA program are chosen.  Nisbet Day is planned for May 1.  An annual tug-of-war between freshmen and sophomores is to be held on May 3.  The track and tennis seasons are underway.  The baseball team loses against Syracuse and Franklin & Marshall.  Interest in participation in summer military camps grows on campus, as a program of the Military Training Camps Association of the United States.

Mr. Andrew Oyler is hired as the new baseball coach. Robert B. Kistler will assume the role of Editor-in-Chief for the next issue of The Dickinsonian.
