The Men's Senate attempts to get rid of politics from student government. Girls hosted their parents for a special church service and banquet for Mother's Day. Harris Green elected the president of next year's Senior class. Freshmen class attempt to get rid of politics in class elections. President Waugh decides that if a house mother is present at a fraternity house, a girl may enter--this new rule came after Phi Delta Theta secured Mrs. Eisenberg as their house mother. More work is put into the Sesqui-Centennial Pageant to be presented during Commencement Week.

Dickinson's Men's Basketball team defeated by Mount St. Mary. Students elect new Athletic Association officers. Someone stole medicine from the infirmary. Sigma Tau Phi is currently winning the Interfraternity Basketball Series. Students perform "The Haunted House" mystery play. President Waugh showed off his dance skills at the Skull and Key Ball. A. J. "Dad" Elliot, a Christian leader, challenges students to engage more in Christian practices. Many freshmen, the registrar reveals, are related to former Dickinsonians. The annual Doll Show was held Dec. 16, 1932 and resulted in $40.00 being donated to the Shiremanstown Home along with dolls and other gifts. Dean Vuilleumier heads Carlisle's Gas Defense Squad, a part of the Office for Civilian Defense. Two Dickinson graduates will face each other in the Congressional race in Wilke-Barre and the winner of this election will succeed another Dickinsonian. Six Dickinson students enlist in the US Naval Air Corps Reserve and will begin to form the Dickinson unit under the "V-5" program.

At opening of the 169th academic year, students hear about the role of education in the nation's defense. Fraternity bids will be announced Tuesday. $10,333.04 was raised with the 6th Annual Dickinson College Alumni Fund Campaign. Dr. Doney and Dr. Norcross passed away over the summer. Dickinson has gotten 5 new faculty members due to deaths and absences created by national security measures. Thirty-two varsity lettermen from Dickinson are now serving in the US armed forces. James Arnold, Robert Crow, Richard Eisenhour, Larry Lichtenstein, and John Shumaker are tapped to join Omicron Delta Kappa, nationla leadership honorary society; meanwhile, nine sophomores are chosen to join the Skull and Key Society. Asa W. Climenhaga is hired to replace Raymond P.G. Bowman as College Resistrar, so that the latter, also a psychology professor, can teach full-time. Dr. Rowland R. Lehman is hired to the newly-created post of Assistant to the President for Duties in Connection with Alumni.
