The 1906 Commencement Issue celebrates the end of the academic year and outlines the schedule of events for the week. Representatives from colleges around the area congregate in Harrisburg to organize a college athletic association of Central Pennsylvania which would serve to uphold moves made by the Intercollegiate Athletic Association of the United States.

Board of Trustees meets, decides to purchase the athletic field, and authorizes the construction of a new building for offices, recitation rooms, and literary society halls as soon as funding is secured. A tablet honoring the 810 Dickinsonian World War I veterans is unveiled, as are plans to build Memorial Hall inside of Old West. Bishop Ernest Richardson is announced as the speaker for the Hall's dedication service. Bishop Charles Burns and former president George L. Reed are announced as speakers for Commencement, scheduled for the Sunday after publication. The track team finishes fourth in the first annual Central Pennsylvania College Conference. New rushing rules and the list of students to receive honors are published.
The program for Founder's Day is announced, including an address by Professor Leon Prince as well as tennis, track, and baseball matches. The program for Commencement is also published. The Union Philosophical Society celebrates its 132nd anniversary.The Dickinsonian selects its new managerial staff, with Harry D. Kruse '22 as its editor-in-chief. William Bretz '21 gives an organ recital in Allison Church.
The Academic Planning and Standards Committee changes the wording on Dickinson diplomas for the first time since 1879. They now acknowledge women graduates as alumna instead of alumnus and state that the student has graduated with a degree in liberal arts and sciences as opposed to just philosophy. The DPS safety walk is a success and many parts on and around campus are recognized as needing more adequate lighting. A recent Peace Corps recruitment session attracts a record-breaking number of students not only for Dickinson but for Central Pennsylvania more generally as well.

A harmonious and progressive year ends for the college with the 105th Commencement Ceremony. The Junior Class Oratorical Contest is held. Theta Nu Epsilon, Phi Kappa Psi, and Chi Phi hold their annual banquets. Dr. Himes photographs students in the gymnasium. The classes of 1890 and 1891 play baseball, with the freshmen winning the day 28 to 18. The freshmen lose a baseball game to the preparatory students, 21 to 11. Dickinson’s baseball team also wins against teams from Carlisle, Harrisburg, and Pennsylvania College.
The 103rd annual Commencement Week is held. Bosler Memorial Library Hall is formally presented to the Board of Trustees in an elaborate ceremony. Professor Lindsay is elected to a full professorship position for Chemistry. The baseball team loses to a Harrisburg team 12 to 6, with complaints regarding a biased umpire. Chi Phi, Sigma Chi, Theta Delta Chi, and Phi Kappa Psi hold their annual banquets.
The 95th Annual Commencement is held. The classes of 1858, 1868, 1872, and 1875 hold reunions. Professor Himes is called to assist in the investigation of a possible case of arsenic poisoning near Newville, P.A. Croquet becomes popular on campus. Members of the Sigma Chi Fraternity visit the Gettysburg College chapter a visit, much to their delight.
