Dickinsonian, October 25, 1905

In their first meeting in three years, Dickinson College loses the football game against the Carlisle Indian School with a final score of 36-0. Dickinson Alumni Claud M. Stauffer, class of 1905, leads the Carlisle Indian School band during the Dickinson-Indian game. False reports of a brawl between the Dickinson and Carlisle Indian School students published by the Philadelphia Press are rejected. The class of 1870 holds a reunion in Philadelphia. The Faculty is encouraged to make important announcements through The Dickinsonian instead of at Chapel.

Dickinsonian, October 18, 1905

Every student is encouraged to attend the first football game in three years between Dickinson College and the Carlisle Indian School where souvenir programs will be distributed. A large meeting is held in Bosler Hall to practice yells and songs for the Dickinson-Indian game. The constitution and by-laws of the Pan-Hellenic League of Dickinson College are published.

Dickinsonian, October 11, 1905

Improvements are made to the athletic fields to keep the crowd from surging onto the field. Students are encouraged to attend the upcoming football game against the  Carlisle Indian School and ticket prices are reduced so more students can attend. Freshman are reminded to obey the rules set by the upper classes. The first Sophomore-Freshman football game of the year ends in a tie. The Treasurer's Report for the Dickinson College Athletic Association is released. The Epworth League of the Methodist Church hosts a reception for students.

The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce supports the college's fundraising campaign. Nina Morgana will give a performance at the Carlisle Opera House. Updates on commencement. Notes on J. Former athletic trainer at the Carlisle Indian School accepts position at Leland Stanford University. Pinchot for Governor Club is organized. Professor Mohler gives demonstration on liquid air. Celebrations for Washington's Birthday are planned.  Phi Delta Theta holds its annual dance in the Armory.  A senior writes a letter to the editor on the deplorable state of the bathing facilities in the gymnasium.  Essays to compete for membership on the Dickinsonian board due soon.  Applicants are reminded that the positions require hard work.  Gaps left in baseball schedule because Carlisle Indian School not playing in 1910.

Biddle Memorial Field opened with football victory over Western Maryland.  The YWCA holds its annual reception.  The football season looks unpromising unless there is greater dedication from players.  Play "The Climax" comes to Harrisburg.  An update is given on the recently graduated class of 1909, on "where and what they have landed."  Article on new football rules is reproduced from Yale Collegian.  Paper on former president John Durbin submitted by Professor Super.  New athletic quarters at the Carlisle Indian School are completed.

The second of the annual Sophomore oratorical contests is held in Bosler Hall under the auspices of the Belles Lettres Literary Society.  The 115th annual commencement ceremonies are planned, to include a sermon by President George Edward Reed.  The track and field dual meet between Dickinson and the Carlisle Indian School is cancelled due to petty disagreements in methods of arbitration.

Through the courtesty of Captain Richard Henry Pratt, the students of Dickinson were permitted to witness the graduation ceremonies of the Carlisle Indian School.  Dickinson agrees to a three-year agreement for intercollegiate debates with Penn State University at State College.
