Students petition for a reconsideration of the tenure of Gail Ann Rickert, Professor of Classical Studies. Memorial for the death of student, Ian Keith Sealy, to be held. College Speech and Debate Team has a successful season. Safe Zone project arrives at Dickinson. The Jazz Ensemble will feature the famous trumpeter, Byron Stripling in their spring concert. Dickinson's Ice Hockey Club shines in recent games. Women's Indoor Track wins its first ever indoor championship.

Dickinson beat by Carlisle Indians in footbal.  Law School opens for the semester.  Delta Chi holds a smoker.  Lack of encouragement for debating and public speaking on campus. Third and Second Section hold their annual late night "feeds".  Harrisburg lawyer Mr. Loeser, Esq. gives lecture on "The Loan Shark."  Green Freshmen caps delivered and widely worn on campus.  The Freshmen class elects officers.

Students unaware of option for breath analyzer tests administered by Department of Public Safety. Dickinson Speech and Debate Team holds second annual Red Devil Speech and Debate Tournament. ROTC attends Field Training Exercise for Blue Mountain Battalion. Dickinson eliminates community experience graduation requirement. Dickinson College Television announces new show, "On Second Thought". Student discusses food disposal policy of cafeteria; Dickinson Garden uses cafeteria scraps for compost. Pi Beta Phi and Umoja joint-sponsor Apollo Night. ROTC attends Ranger Challenge.
