Account of commencement. Junior Oratorical Contest is followed by a Junior Promenade. Board of Trustees meets, decides to purchase the athletic field, and authorizes the construction of a new building for offices, recitation rooms, and literary society halls as soon as funding is secured. UPS and Belles Lettres hold annual general meetings. Frank Moore wins and George Edward Mills receives second place in Senior Oratorical Contest for Walkley prize. President Reed holds a reception for the senior class in his mansion. Phi Kappa Psi holds its annual symposium.

Program for commencement week. YMCA elects officers. Cole and Walkley prizes for declamation are awarded. UPS holds elections; H. M. Stephens is president. Belles Lettres holds elections; Chester N. Ames is president. Montgomery P. Sellers wins Belles Lettres Sophomore Oratorical contest; Clarence Balentine wins UPS sophomore oratorical contest. Freshmen hold burlesque. Dickinson competes at the Inter-collegiate Athletic Association of Pennsylvania's annual field day.

A new German fraternity, Das Goethe Kranzchen, is an object of some mystery. The faculty create the Students Intermediary Committee to bring students' concerns to their attention; Mills '91, Lewis '91, Neal '91, Fasick '92, Stephens '92, Wooden '93, and Morgan '94 are elected. Harrisburg District of the YMCA holds convention in Carlisle. Glee and Banjo Clubs take performance trip. Seniors win a highly competitive game of baseball against the freshmen.

Committee created to raise money for the endowment of a chair of The English Bible and Semitic History. Union Philosophical Society celebrates its 102nd anniversary with a banquet. UPS holds elections; S. A. Lewis '91 is president. Belles Lettres holds elections; W. A. Hutchinson '92 is president. Pennsylvania Inter-Collegiate Athletic Association holds annual meeting; Ralph W. Illingworth of Dickinson is elected president.

Pennington Club holds first annual banquet. Dover Club holds banquet. Dickinson participates in the formation of the Pennsylvania Inter-Collegiate Foot-Ball Association. Mid-Winter Athletic Exhibition is held.

Board of trustees adopts a policy requiring the student body to pay for damages to college property. Class Day officers are elected. Illingworth, '91, resigns as Glee Club manager; Balentine, '93, and Hynson, '92, replace him.

Obituaries for William C. Allison and Warren Pierce '94. Alpha Zeta Phi holds its first reception. Beta Theta Pi moves from its rooms on Hanover Street to rooms on High Street recently vacated by Chi Phi. Pennington Club elects officers; William Perry Eveland is president. Belles Lettres Society elects officers; Charles Coover Greer is president. Union Philosophical Society elects officers; Augustus Sayford Fasick is president.
