Harris Green elected the president of next year's Senior class. Freshmen class attempt to get rid of politics in class elections. President Waugh decides that if a house mother is present at a fraternity house, a girl may enter--this new rule came after Phi Delta Theta secured Mrs. Eisenberg as their house mother. More work is put into the Sesqui-Centennial Pageant to be presented during Commencement Week.

Because of an unusual demand, the Board of Trustees is forced to give more money in student loans. Dickinson graduates are elected to state offices. Skull and Key holds its annual winter formal. Dickinson loses to Franklin and Marshall in basketball. The Dickinsonian elects a new editor-in-chief. The Dickinson School of Law is elected as a member of the Association of American Law Schools. The Young People’s Fellowship begins panels to discuss popular issues, the first of which is “What is wrong with the movies?” The Athletic Association will elect officers on Monday.

Specialized research assistance introduced in the library. In its first official investigation, the Student Senate Disciplinary Committee names sixteen students as participants in vandalism at Franklin and Marshall, publicly reprimanding them. Dr. Elmer Herber of the Biology Department discusses his latest research into pregnancy tests. Baltimore Alumni Association host dinner and dance for students. Author and lecturer Frank Nipp spoke to the upper-class chapel about the danger of Communist expansion in China, tracing its development.

Dickinson's journalistic fraternity, Alpha Sigma Gamma, petitions national journalistic fraternity Pi Delta Epsilon for a charter. A group of 12 students visit the U.N. in New York. Ozan Marsh performs a piano recital, his second visit to Dickinson. A new program of inter-college cooperation between Dickinson, F&M, and Gettysburg, including an expansion of intramural sports competition and shared cultural and social events, is announced. A lecture is held on the state of affairs in Africa in terms of both economics and social structure.
