The 330th anniversary of Martin Luther’s Bible translation will be celebrated by a supper meeting at Allison Memorial Church. It is remarked that President Corson is one of the youngest college presidents in the US. The Women’s Glee Club plans their spring schedule. A talk is presented by the Association of University Women on the importance of social engineering.
Events for the inauguration of Fred P. Corson as president of the college are planned. The Dickinson Players present “The Late Christopher Bean” at Bosler Hall. The Biology Department attempts to draw a correlation between a person’s success and his birth month. A Dickinson French exchange student passes away while in Florida. The college holds a luncheon for prospective students. The Debate Team defeats Franklin and Marshall in a debate of the munitions question

At the request of the president, all fraternities must abolish all forms of Hell Week. Two members of the faculty resign. Three students are selected to study abroad. The results of the student poll on national politics are announced. The Debate Teams goes up against the University of Pennsylvania. The President of a university in China gives a talk about present day China and Eastern views. Hostilities between members of two fraternities are broken up by a tear gas bomb thrown by a Carlisle policeman. The Union Literary Society will disband. A date is set for the Pan-Hellenic dance. Feuding between two fraternities ends in armistice.
Klein S. Merriman received the Class of 1902 Award for being the all-around Dickinsonian of the Junior class. The Greek Club initiates seven new members. W3YC, Dickinson’s amateur radio station, enters an international radio contest. Sigma Alpha Epsilon celebrates the 79th anniversary of its founding. The Women’s Glee Club plans a new program. The Dickinsonian conducts a student poll on national politics. The Debate Team ties with State College. Omicron Delta Kappa revises their newly proposed student plan and awaits student approval.
The Women’s Glee Club performs for the Carlisle Civic Club. The basketball team defeats Bucknell. The Debate Team will face off with State College. Prayer Week begins. There is a change in the cast of the Dramatic Club play. The Men’s Glee Club is to begin a series of concerts.
The basketball team wins in a game against Gettysburg. A German exchange student states his opinions of the college. Dr. Phillips Packer Elliott is to lead the Dickinson Week of Prayer. Five members of the faculty play in a basketball game. Omicron Delta Kappa presents a plan to form a new central Student Senate to take on the duties of the current senate. The Women’s Glee club will perform for the American Association of University Women. The Dickinson P.A.C.S. cabinet reports its student appointees, and supports a petition for student absentee voting in Pennsylvania elections.
Fraternities hold initiation. The Junior class holds their annual dance for the first time in three years, and invitation is extended to all classes. The Women’s Glee Club prepares for three future performances. Arthur D. Kahler, from Brown University, is selected to be the new football coach. The Dramatic Club holds tryouts for its new plays. The Tribunal committee of the Men’s Senate will sponsor the annual Freshman-Sophomore scrap. The Debate Team wins against Muhlenberg. The Greek Club presents a program on Drama. The Library displays a collection of Persian art.
Changes in The Dickinsonian staff are announced. The Debate Team loses to Lafayette and will soon face off with Muhlenberg. The prom chairman announces the date of the Junior Prom. President Corson issues a budget for student groups. Professor Parlin perfects a portable intensitometer and a set of colored filters, which together are used to test the degree and type of colorblindness. A French diplomat addresses the International Relations club in a speech about World Peace and the League of Nations.
The International Relations club brings in a speaker from France. Norman Thomas, the county’s leading Socialist, speaks to the college. The Freshman begin a revolt against class rules, but the event quickly dies out. Joseph H. McCormack, the college’s football coach, resigns. Dickinson beats Villanova in basketball. Omicron Delta Kappa plans to create an All-College organization that examines problems particular to Dickinson student life. The movies debate continues. The Women’s Glee Club plans its activities for the semester.
Because of an unusual demand, the Board of Trustees is forced to give more money in student loans. Dickinson graduates are elected to state offices. Skull and Key holds its annual winter formal. Dickinson loses to Franklin and Marshall in basketball. The Dickinsonian elects a new editor-in-chief. The Dickinson School of Law is elected as a member of the Association of American Law Schools. The Young People’s Fellowship begins panels to discuss popular issues, the first of which is “What is wrong with the movies?” The Athletic Association will elect officers on Monday.
The Dickinsonian accepts ten new staff writers, roughly one-third of the applicants. The Jewish Religious Association organizes three chapel programs, as well as biweekly meetings, emulating activities of the Protestant and Catholic groups on campus. The Dickinson Players' production of The Goose Hangs High opens in Bosler Hall. Phi Epsilon Pi pledges hold an unusual, yet popular informal dance, the theme of which was "vacation" in honor of the upcoming holiday recess.
The first Dad's Day is held, in which fathers of all students are invited to visit campus. A similar event for mothers has been held for several years. The Dramatic Club casts their production of The Goose Hangs High, to be performed in December. Women's physical education regulations change such that if all requirements are met satisfactorily by a student at the end of her junior year, she will be exempt from particpating in physical education during her senior year.
