Annual Doll Show held. Large number of Dickinson students effected by cold epidemic. Mr. William B. Greenlee presents gift of $500 to the College Library. New rules for men's rushing approved by College. Discussion of "Corruption in Russia" held at Allison Methodist Church. The College Choir presents a Christmas program. Students protest grievances. Miss Mary Elinor Betts is the new assistant to the Dean of Women. Lack of diversity in surnames is discussed. Ruth Sellers Maxwell Scholarship in English Literature is established. Coach Arthur D. Kahler returns as head football coach.

Fraternities hold initiation. The Junior class holds their annual dance for the first time in three years, and invitation is extended to all classes. The Women’s Glee Club prepares for three future performances. Arthur D. Kahler, from Brown University, is selected to be the new football coach. The Dramatic Club holds tryouts for its new plays. The Tribunal committee of the Men’s Senate will sponsor the annual Freshman-Sophomore scrap. The Debate Team wins against Muhlenberg. The Greek Club presents a program on Drama. The Library displays a collection of Persian art.

Colonel Mathews brought in to teach the 'Pre-Induction Training Courses." Two Dickinson graduates begin aviation training. Dr. Landis, professor of Mathematics, dies. College staff member, George Shuman Jr, asks alumni for old issues of the Freshmen Handbook. A national survey discovers that fraternity members have higher grad averages than non-fraternity members.

This issue features an article on an increase of cocaine use in the United States. "The Dickinsonian" had released a survey on cocaine in the previous edition and received minimal results back, stating that out of the responses all except two had at least tried cocaine once. Female enrollment at colleges nationwide increases, and can be seen at Dickinson with 308 freshmen women enrolled compared to 240 men. Sorority rushees have also increased, causing discussion for the creation of a fourth sorority. Student Senate candidates are featured in an article.
