Plans for the 152nd Commencement are finished. The Literary Clubs holds elections. Benny Goodman is selected as the performing artist of the Commencement Dance. The Microcosm holds elections. The All-College Senate takes control of the school government. Skull and Key hold their annual Pledge Dance. The Greek Club elects officers for next year.

Professor W. M. Eddy and Edward Kronenberg Jr. present their paper to the Pennsylvania Academy of Science.  Class of 1895 builds memorial gate at northeast corner of campus.  Individual fraternity dances will occur in Commencement Week rather than the planned all-college dance.  Students to sit for Carnegie examinations.

YMCA and YWCA hold a debate about Prohibition.  Senior class decides not to hold a senior ball.  An all-college dance will replace fraternity dances at commencement.  Alfred O. Keedy wins German Club scholarship to Germany.  Phi Kappa Psi wins interfraternity track.  Dickins0n-in-China drive begins.  Professor Edgar M. Bowman resigns.

Dickinsonian, March 4, 1937

William Pearson Tolley, President of Allegheny College, gave a talk warning about the abandonment of land and a regression to wilderness, in contrast to the establishment of civilization. Clarence B. Hendrickson was given the award as All-Around Dickinsonian. The first baseball practice of the season will be held Monday. The Junior Prom included several Irish traditions, including a Blarney Stone and shamrock ceiling. The college announces a new award for good scholarship that will be awarded to multiple students.
