The Men's Student Tribunal convicts two freshmen of serious infractions, resulting in the temporary withdrawal from the college of one of the offenders. The effort to develop an honor system by the honor committee continues with extensive surveys of such honor systems at other colleges. Changes are made to the physical education curriculum in order to provide students with a "Liberal Physical Education." Dickinson students may take part in an operetta sponsored by the Carlisle Chamber of Commerce.

The traditional Dad's Day, during which fathers of Dickinson students were welcomed to campus, is changed into the first all-inclusive Parent's Day. The results of an Intercollegiate Newspaper Association poll suggests that Dickinsonians are growing more liberal. Students protest the long-standing policy of only offering one day of vacation for Thanksgiving. A new physical education policy, requiring 112 hours of gym time by the end of sophomore year, is enacted. The campus surpasses its $800 goal for the local Chest Drive. The Mermaid is stolen from atop Old West.

Dickinsonian, October 26, 1935

The first Dad's Day is held, in which fathers of all students are invited to visit campus. A similar event for mothers has been held for several years. The Dramatic Club casts their production of The Goose Hangs High, to be performed in December. Women's physical education regulations change such that if all requirements are met satisfactorily by a student at the end of her junior year, she will be exempt from particpating in physical education during her senior year.
