Class Day is planned. Commencement is planned. Rising Sophomore John Burnite is selected to spend summer at German student labor camp. YMCA and YWCA are replaced with Dickinson College Religious Association. Interfraternity Council denies Phi Epsilon Pi and Sigma Tau Phi's requests to join. Belles Lettres Society and Union Philosophical Society unite to form Union Literary Society. Dramatic Club presents "The Fugitive". Summary of men's basketball, men's cross-country and men's tennis seasons.

Student committee on social affairs and the faculty social committee to change organization of social functions. About 25 students plan to go to Washington, D.C. for Franklin Roosevelt's presidential inauguration. Junior class votes to have Microcosm dedicated to Mr. Malcolm, the college's treasurer and superintendent of the grounds and buildings. Plans for students to go to a performance of one of Wagner's operas commence. Metzger Hall gets brighter lights by request of its residents. President Waugh proposes changes to the curriculum, which the faculty will vote on soon.

Dickinson's Men's Basketball team defeated by Mount St. Mary. Students elect new Athletic Association officers. Someone stole medicine from the infirmary. Sigma Tau Phi is currently winning the Interfraternity Basketball Series. Students perform "The Haunted House" mystery play. President Waugh showed off his dance skills at the Skull and Key Ball. More action taken to plan the sesquicentennial dance. Microcosm beauty contests begins. New president of the Union Philosophical Society elected. Informal Student Investigation Committee on better school spirit presented their findings.

The football team finds a new coach who signs a three year contract. Founders' Day celebrations begin this day. The senior picnic is planned for the following Monday where many athletic events will take place. Two men's literary societies, Belles Lettres and the Union Philosophical Society, see their organizations losing membership and seek aid from the college administration to keep their clubs alive. The Jewish fraternities gain representation in Senate.

The Sigma Tau Phi Jewish fraternity requests recognition by the college as a national fraternity.  Fred A. Lumb, president of the Dramatic Club, predicts "Children of the Moon" Christmas performance to be a great success.  Professor C.W. Prettyman defends new fashions of coeds, remarking "the pendulum of college activity may be swinging back to the Puritanical as far as Dickinsonians are concerned."  Following the resignation of Professor C. Ennis Wass as Glee Club leader, Mooredeen Plough has taken up responsiblities.
