Football coaches lament players' work ethic.  Metzgerites hold monthly birthday parties to celebrate all birthdays occurring in that month.  Herbert L. Davis '21 is elected president of newly re-formed Mohler Scientific Club.  Mike Palm '20 lectures to Mohler Scientific Club on aviation technology.  Faculty declare that all college social activities must end before midnight. 

Annual Dickinsonian banquet. President Morgan attends meetings of the Association of the heads of Methodist Colleges and Seminaries and of the Association of American Colleges. The New Republic attacks Dickinson for unjust terminations and denial of academic freedom. Description of changes approved in the previous semester to the constitution for the Metzger WSGA. School of Family Relationships to hold second annual session at Dickinson. All-college Social committee plans for fraternity open-house dances following basketball games. Students apply for on-campus CWA jobs.

Dickinsonian elects J. Lawrence Jackson editor-in-chief, Robert Wayne business manager, and Robert J. Trace managing editor. Committee does not unanimously accept Dean Josephine B. Meredith's proposed changes to Metzger Council constitution aimed at elimating fraternity politics in student government. Edward First is elected president of Athletic Association. Dean of Women Josephine B. Meredith and YWCA president Elizabeth Hess choose committtee of students to promote fellowship among the Metzger girls.

The football team finds a new coach who signs a three year contract. Founders' Day celebrations begin this day. The senior picnic is planned for the following Monday where many athletic events will take place. Two men's literary societies, Belles Lettres and the Union Philosophical Society, see their organizations losing membership and seek aid from the college administration to keep their clubs alive. The Jewish fraternities gain representation in Senate.

Dean Dr. William Tyler returns to campus after conducting classes elsewhere worldwide. Professor Whitfield Bell, Jr., presented a paper on Early America in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Cultural Affairs Committee announces the arrangement of three musical events to take place in Bosler Hall in the future. The Little Theater production fo "Beggar on Horeback" will be the first arena type play at Dickinson. The Department of Political Science announces sponsored trip for mid-November to the new United Nations Headquarters on the East River.

College social life continues to evolve with new BYOB alcohol policies, effecting weekend parties. Gays, lesbians find allies on campus. Lettermen look to tradition to revive pride in the "D-Club". Students nationwide plan to Rock The Vote. Dean Carmen Neuberger announces resignation. Trustee Mary Ann Altman dies. College opens convenience store in HUB. Social Committee enters second advent. Blondie offers football, free food, and karaoke. Musician Dave Binder continues tradition of playing at the college.
