Skull and Key holds initiation. Professor Leon Prince marries Miss Julia Delavan, class of 1913. Dr. William Lindsay retires due to declining health. Troutman Gougler selected as new field coach. The new academic year opens with a ceremony; Professor Leon C. Prince gives matriculation sermon. Wilbur H. Norcross ’07 and G. Lafayette Cram join faculty. Miss Helen Burns ’12 becomes college librarian. Sophomores win annual flag scrap. YMCA holds annual reception for new students. Metzger Hall is renovated and fitted with electric lights; has highest occupancy yet. The deceased Professor William Lambert Gooding is remembered. Conway Hall, South College, and Biddle Field are renovated.

The Baltimore Alumni Association holds its annual banquet with Dr. George E. Reed and Prof. L.C. Prince as the principal speakers of the evening. A Delta chapter of the Chi Omega fraternity is installed. The Entertainment Course of the Civic Club is to be presented with Hon. E.W. Biddle as the guest speaker. Phi Kappa Psi holds a dance in honor of the Franklin and Marshall's music club visitation to Carlisle.
Annual junior prom is held. Fraternities initiate new members. Professor Leon C. Prince is injured in an automobile accident.
Plans for the content of this year’s Microcosm are expanded. The Dramatic Club has started rehearsing for its next production, The Royal Family. The Student Senate discusses ways to create a better relationship between Gettysburg and Dickinson and how to increase scholarship among the freshmen. Plans to convert Moore house into a modern biology lab, to be called the Baird Biology Lab, are finally approved. Dr. Leon Cushing Prince, beloved teacher and scholar, passed away Sunday. The Dickinson Bowling team has won seven games in a row.
