The Gamma Epsilon Literary Society plans its own improvement in the field of debate.  Dickinsonians await a performance of the Smalley Grand Concert Company, "composed of the finest Lady Quartet in the world."  "Basket ball" grows in popularity, becoming the premier winter sport.

The college celebrates the birthday of George Washington as well as the 109th anniversary of the Union Philosophical Literary Society.  An alumni banquet takes place in Baltimore, Maryland.  The Gamma Epsilon Literary Society celebrates its annual banquet.

The Dickinson Reserves baseball team loses to Carlisle in an atmosphere so severe as to make "good ball playing impossible," whereas the varsity team defeated Penn State 23 to 9.  The Gamma Epsilon Literary Society plans to hold a public debate.
