Pianist William Kinderman gave a concert featuring pieces by Johannes Brahms, Claude Debussy and Ludwig van Beethoven. He was assisted by Donald Riggs on the clarinet for the Brahms piece "Sonata in F minor for Clarinet and Piano".

Black-belt Rich Garnish, along with a team of six experts, gave a demonstration of Okinawan Isshinryu Karate in the Social Hall. The demonstration was concluded by a lesson in self-defense. The program was offered as a prelude to the upcoming karate class being offered for gym credit.
