IM Baseball

A new German fraternity, Das Goethe Kranzchen, is an object of some mystery. The faculty create the Students Intermediary Committee to bring students' concerns to their attention; Mills '91, Lewis '91, Neal '91, Fasick '92, Stephens '92, Wooden '93, and Morgan '94 are elected. Harrisburg District of the YMCA holds convention in Carlisle. Glee and Banjo Clubs take performance trip. Seniors win a highly competitive game of baseball against the freshmen.

Schedule for commencement activities is published. The committee for organizing Class Day is chosen. Seniors R. M. Parker, R. B. Weaver, and W. C. Gross lecture to Scientific Society. Literary societies plan sophomore contests. G. W. Miller, J. A. H. Barnitz, A. R. Bender, and Ed. Hilton are elected Dickinsonian editors. Baseball club is formed with C. W. Emmerich as president.

Students light firecrackers in classrooms, then vandalize the town. Juniors defeat Sophomores in first baseball game of season. A glee club is formed. Seniors plant a class tree and bury a time capsule with it. Phi Kappa Psi holds fifteenth annual symposium.

Freshman class is characterized by the relatively advanced age of its members. Belles Lettres Society refurnishes its library. Sophomores defeat Juniors in baseball.
