The Geology Club visits Hawaii over Spring Break to do research on volcanoes. WDCV to change its name from "The Frequency" to it original name, "The Dickinson College Voice." Admissions projects 5000 applications for the class of 2008. Plans to install webcams in the HUB abandoned. Life in Toulouse and Malaga are examined.

The fourth annual Derby Day Steal sponsored by Sigma Chi kicked off Parents' weekend. Both East College and Bosler Hall had to put off renovation due to fund shortages. Tom Martin, president of the Student Senate, outlined the challenges that are to be faced by the student representative on a faculty committee. Suzanne Lail was elected president of the Women's Interdormitory Council. Dr. Alfred Levin and Dr. Stephen Coslett are proposing a speed reading class to the administration. A group of six geology students led by Professor H.W.

The Student Senate candidates announce their platforms. The Senate campaign is recounted. A student survey reveals mixed feelings from students about Senate. Professors James, Rogers, and Bowden plan sabbaticals. The Mermaid Players announce their production of "Major Barbie." Dennis King gives presentation about Benjamin Franklin. A new Geology Club is established. Belles Lettres Society presents the British film "Fame is the Spur." Professor Bell receives honorary degree from Franklin College of Indiana. Swim team completes their season undefeated.
